City Council Meeting tomorrow (06/14) - Please show support for our Fireshed!

Please Join the Greater Santa Fe Fireshed Coalition in a show of support for the Santa Fe Mtns. Landscape Resiliency Project at the June 14th City Council meeting!

When: June 14th, 5pm - petitions from the floor at 7pm

Where: City Council Chambers Hall - 200 Lincoln Avenue

Why: Show support for the decades of work that have lead into the SFMLRP and help our city leadership understand the broader importance of forest and watershed resiliency work in the Santa Fe Fireshed.

We hope Greater Santa Fe Fireshed Coalition partners and stakeholders can provide their input concerning the approval of the Santa Fe Mountains Environmental Assessment & Finding of No Significant Impact Decision Notice during the PETITIONS FROM THE FLOOR, which occurs approximately about 7pm. Each person is allowed two minutes for comments from the public. Please remain at the meeting after SFNF’s presentation or arrive by 6:30pm to include your comments in person at the City Council meeting for the public record.

There is also a virtual option to make a comment during PETITIONS FROM THE FLOOR, by joining the Zoom link, https://santafenm-gov.zoom.us/j/88908501676, and using the “Raise Hand” function to be recognized by the Mayor to speak at the appropriate time. The GSFFC is a coalition of public and private organizations. The GSFFC is not a subdivision of the State of New Mexico, as defined in the state’s Open Meetings Act, §§ 10-15-1 to 10-15-4 NMSA 1978. Although federal agencies participate in the GSFFC, the Coalition is not a federal advisory board and was not created by a federal agency, as defined by the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5.U.S.C. app. 2, §§ 1 to 16 (2012). The GSFFC operates informally to support its partners, and is not incorporated as a non-profit, 501(C)(3), partnership, or other legal status.
